Welcome to Boscombe's Arts Newsletter brought to you by Boscombe Network Community Enterprises (BNCE) and the Students Union at Bournemouth University. These pages show months of hard work by artists and volunteers, we hope you enjoy them.

It seems that Boscombe’s art scene has not been so lively since the Shelleys were around and many of us on the ground are still campaigning for more financial support for the arts in the area.

One of our many aims is not only to link-up with individuals and groups locally but also to put Boscombe firmly on the artistic map once more. We hope we did this with the Dorset Art Weeks exhibition which you can read about here along with reports from the other events that have happened over the summer.

Special thanks to Jenny Webb for her professionalism in helping to organise the Dorset Art Weeks show and we wish her all the best in her new project in India. Also to Bob Buxton and the Earthwise crew for a great festival.
